NEW YORK Christmas Trip 2025
The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry invites all Young Adults (18-39y.o.) to join us on our Christmas Adventure in NYC!
FRIDAY
- Arrive anytime in the evening at your accommodation
- Optional: 7:30 PM Attend Vespers at St. Michael the Archangel Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 112 1st St, Passaic, NJ 07055 – Lay-run prayer group
SATURDAY
- 9:00 AM – Meet-up in Rutherford, NJ (exact address shared with those who sign up)
- Then we’ll head into NYC for a full day of exploring:
✨ Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree
🌳 Central Park
⛪ St. Patrick’s Cathedral
🕊️ 9/11 Museum and Memorial
🗽 Statue of Liberty (from a distance)
…and more as time allows!
SUNDAY
- 8:00 AM – Matins
- 9:00 AM – Divine Liturgy, St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Cathedral, 112 1st St, Passaic, NJ 07055
- After Liturgy – Departure
Transportation:
Carpooling from the Pittsburgh area (or on your own) and then using public transit from NJ to NYC.
Accommodation:
Once we know how many of us are coming, we can book the hotel together, or you can book your own accommodation. We recommend staying at the La Quinta Inn in Clifton, NJ, which is near our meet-up spot on Saturday morning.

At the local restaurants
