Let us prepare for the Coming of Our Lord and Savior Jesus’ Nativity.
The Priests and Deacons of the Greater Pittsburgh Protopresbytery (GPP) are extending an opportunity to spiritually prepare for Our Savior Jesus’ coming in the flesh.
In this first annual event, the clergy is encouraging all to prepare by making a good and worthy Confession of sins by approaching the Holy Mystery of Reconciliation prior to a pre-Nativity Moleben.
The first Celebration is 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20 at St. Gregory, Upper St. Clair, Pa.; and the second opportunity will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18 at St. John the Baptist, Lyndora, Pa.
The GPP is noted for its annual Great Fast Penitential Vespers prior to Holy Week and for the annual Social Pasta Goodwill Offering Dinner in October.
Mark your calendars for these two upcoming liturgical events and bring a friend. Light refreshments will follow.
If you have any questions, please contact the Protopresbyter, Father Frank Firko 412-771-3324.
Let us prepare the Bethlehem of our souls and make a fitting place for our Savior to rest His Precious Head in the Manger of our hearts on Christmas Day.
