(OSV News) — As Pope Leo XIV’s 70th birthday grows closer, popular prayer app Hallow has joined the effort to grow a global spiritual birthday bouquet organized by OSV News. A prayer campaign for Pope Leo’s Sept 14 birthday, posted to the app at the start of the weekend, has gained more than 1,300 participants.
“What an honor it is to help celebrate Pope Leo’s birthday!” said Alex Jones, CEO and co-founder of Hallow. “We’re thrilled to be able to help us all come together in prayer and thanksgiving.”
The prayer campaign so far has gathered thousands of registered prayers for Pope Leo, with more than 2 million more prayers and acts of mercy pledged.
