ECF and Family Life: Making the Connection

The 2015 World Meeting of Families will take place in Philadelphia, September 21 – 27. Catholics from all over the world will come together to pray, reflect and learn what it means to be a “family of faith” in the 21st Century. With the coordinating theme “ECF and Family Life: Making the Connection,” the Archeparchy’s Office of Religious Education (ORE) will present a workshop for catechists and interested adults Saturday Aug. 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Munhall, Pa.

Principal presenter Ann M. Koshute, MTS will give suggestions on how the Catechists can communicate better with the parents of our ECF students, involve them in the program and help them keep the faith alive in the home.

Ann Koshute is a Byzantine Catholic speaker and writer, focusing on marriage and the family as Domestic Church. She holds a Master of Theological Studies from the Pontifical John Paul II Institute for Studies on Marriage and Family Life in Washington, D.C.
