Clergy of the Greater Pittsburgh Presbytery once again will be donning their chef’s hats and aprons to cook and serve pasta at the third Deanery Pasta Dinner. Back by popular demand, and under the expert direction of head chef Father Andrew Deskevich of the host location – St. Elias Church in Munhall – priests and deacons will bustle among the crowds which are expected to partake of this exceptionally fun and delicious meal on Sunday October 9, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The last such pasta dinner held was in 2014, during which clergy served an estimated 500 dinners under the watchful eye of Father George Gallaro, now Bishop Giorgio of Piana degli Albanesi in Palermo, Italy.

Seminary Rector Father Robert Pipta also will be helping fellow clergy at the dinner. There is no set charge per dinner; a free-will offering is suggested.
